Purchased to replace exactly the same model that was recalled. Awaiting assistance to install and hoping that this model will perform as well as the original – basically cooled 768 square feet without any problems plus very quiet and unobtrusive even when it was rarely operating on high fan setting! Initial reluctance on purchasing a brand with which I was unfamiliar but absolutely no regrets! Highly recommended.

This is the quietest air conditioner we have ever had. It does a great job of cooling the room and it is very quiet. I love the design that allows us to use our window and see out of it with the air conditioner in it. It was a little expensive but worth it.

Haven’t had a chance to use it in hot weather yet, but test operations were quiet and pumped a lot of cold air where needed. Used the fan a few times and that was perfect as the room doesn’t get good cross ventilation. Should be a nice experience to actually hear the TV this summer. And to echo others, the support bracket quality, fit and finish is excellent.
Where I have to give major kudos was Midea’s customer service. I contacted them via email about their app and the firmware version loaded on the device. They were actually responsive and helpful! Had an entire conversation over email and they followed up when I didn’t respond. I haven’t had that sort of customer service in well over a decade! Nice!

We are very happy with the air conditioner. It is quiet, works well, and is smaller than our old ones. However, when it arrived somehow the “fins” or wires on the back were very much bent and we spent a long time straightening them very carefully. Seemed to be an issue with shipping or packaging. But now they are fine.

I purchased a 10,000 BTU unit two years ago and it was part of the recall. The repair company that was assigned to come repair the unit kept blowing me off and never ended up showing. When I turned the unit on two weeks ago, I got an error code message, which indicated the air conditioner could not be repaired. I contacted. Midea explained how the repair person never showed up to the repair and my research showed that my error message was due to moisture in the compressor unit. Two days after I called I got instructions on taking a picture and cutting the cord of the unit and I will be getting a refund of $430.

I just received this unit today and it was a breeze to set up. The instructions were very clear and it’s very unobtrusive. I live in a 200-year-old brick House in a very humid, hot coastal city and my central air has been out for a few weeks so I bought this to tide me over. It does a great job of cooling the bedroom at night, but during the day I actually leave the bedroom door open and it also cools the other room on the second floor of our house. Tolerably. I love that you can control it from anywhere via an app and that it’s very energy, efficient and quiet so far seems like a great purchase

I bought this machine at the end of August. Didn’t install until late September. Maybe used at night several days for a month. Tried using on the few warm days we’ve had this spring and it doesn’t work. Keep getting error codes. I had a previous Midea that lasted a long time. This is a newer more advanced version but quality must be lacking.
