    My central ac developed a leak late in the summer. So I decided to wait to fix it. In the meantime I decided to purchase 2 midea u shaped 12,000 btu window units. My place is a 2 bd 2 bth 900 square ft. This 1 unit cools my whole place! It is so quiet! My fan makes more noise than the ac unit. It is so easy to install! Also the mshield cleans the air! And it works cuz there was a strong odor in the house that has dissipated now! These units also have dehumidifier. I am so impressed with this inverter technology! It adjust itself according to the room temperature, it actually is more comfortable than my central ac.

    Takes about three or four years in electric savings to pay for itself. Super quiet and solid cooling, I suspect it will cool far larger areas than specs say. Inverter so can be run with Generator when power inevitably fails frequently here deep rural Northern California. I have multiple units and when bought on sale super value. Regular price is fair but I wait patiently for the sales.
