  1. Ro Membrane –

    Very slow recharge and TDS not low enough for a typical Reverse osmosis unit. Lowest TDS reading 64, Should be 10 or lower for a four stage system. Recharge rate is so slow it takes several stop and start cycles to get a picture of water. Other system I have had were fast recharge and TDS 10 or lower. Not recommended for a home system.

    This filter was shipped without proper packaging or any instructions. On top of it all, it was damaged at the 90• joint, only finding out after water was rushing out of it, damaging the cabinet, wood floor and ceiling below the kitchen.

    I have the 4-stage system and could find this carbon filter (stage 3) anywhere. After speaking with PureBlue customer service, it was confirmed that this stage 2 filter on a 3-stage system is compatible with our stage 3 on the 4-stage system. Received promptly and working perfectly.
