    This machine does well grinding the appropriate amount of beans and adjusts the strength to what you have selected. It is nice to set the amount of time that it keeps the coffee warm (up to 4 hours) and I have enjoyed using the reusable filter. I appreciate that many pieces separate for ease of cleaning, although that can also be frustrating as it means more parts to clean. Overall I’ve been happy with this machine and have used it nearly daily for 3 months now.

    My husband is enjoying the burred coffee beans and the coffee. He says it tastes better than the coffee when he had a burrer and put them into the coffee maker. He also likes the convenience of keeping a lot of beans in the machine whit having to measure them out every morning. I like having only one appliance on the counter.

    This coffee pot makes a great cup of coffee. And it’s so nice not having to wash the part of the grinder. It’s a little difficult to figure out how it works. But once you figure it out, it is a wonderful coffee pot and makes excellent coffee.

    Love freshly ground coffee without an extra grinder. Solid value for fresh coffee, the only trade off is the grinder is extremely noisy and very slow. Not ideal if you have a home with light sleepers.

    It’s nice to have freshly ground coffee as it’s percolating. However, the grinder breaks down within three years span. The shoot is constantly clogged. You need to clear it out very often.

    We got this coffee maker during the holidays as our old one stopped heating. It is by far the best tasteing coffee I have had in a very long time. This coffee maker is very easy to clean too, it comes with a re-usable filter basket and the top bean hopper is removable for cleaning as well. I highly recommend it!

    This pot grinds and makes coffee just fine but using it is a bit of a task. Having to push buttons in a specific order, having to align the arrows when changing the basket, the hidden button for opening the basket, no light on the clock. This coffee maker would be great with just a few improvements on usability.

    Okay, so the machine is very smartly designed and I love the the fact that Cuisinart came up with a product like this. However, it has some design flaws. The grind capturing mechanism was a bit poorly designed making it finicky. Also, you have to do alot of cleaning because of stuck coffee grinds. There is too much plastic and the button system is a bit outdated. Other than that, great machine.

    This is a great coffee maker. Taking care of the grinder is a little more work in terms of cleaning but no more work than a separate grinder. Also, you don’t have to use the grinder and can use pre-ground coffee with this machine by turning off the grinder before you brew. Great machine that makes great coffee.

    It is easy to operate, I’m not giving it 5 stars because I was expecting a to be able to adjust the grinder setting and it has only one. I kept this coffee maker and I’m enjoying freshly brewed coffee every morning

    The redesign of this product indicates Cuisinart is listening. Can easily clean the shute to prevent clogging. Improved the carafe so a full pot doesn’t pour down the side. Previous design couldn’t be cleaned and grinder stopped working.

    I have had to purchase 2 of these coffee makers. The first time, after using it for about a year, it would shut off after brewing. In addition, it would brew, but not fully, so only 8 cups would brew instead of 12. We otherwise liked the coffee maker so we thought we’d try it again. We’ve had this one for 2 years and it’s doing the exact same thing. Shame on us I guess for trying again.
