    We’ve had it for a month and it works great. Makes ice cubes fast. We run it for an hour and put the multiple batches of ice cubes it makes during that time into a gallon ziplock bag in the freezer. The cubes slowly melt back into the water storage compartment if you leave them in the bin, so it doesn’t make a mess, but if you want them full size, not partially melted, and don’t want to run the machine continuously it’s better to freeze them after making. Night and day better than ice cube trays or having to run to the store for ice.

    Fast and efficient. The ice is slightly soft. The large size makes ~8 cubes every 8 minutes and the small makes more faster. So far happy. Hums while it works. We got it to keep a recirculating ice wrap cooler full but I’ve been using them to make drinks since they are chewable.

    My refrigerator ice machine stopped working a few years ago and I was tired of buying ice each week. This machine fulfills the need. As other reviewers mentioned, it is a bit noisy and the ice is “wet” although I have found if I leave it sit for a while after it dumps the ice into the basket, it does dry out some. It makes a sufficient amount to fill my refrigerator basket in a day.

    The last one I had made it over 2 years of non-stop use, it was on all the time! This new one is much quieter (pump and compressor) and makes great ice! I hope it lasts as long.. My 1 complaint is an engineering flaw, the lid plastic is too long and sometimes the ice even when set to small will catch on the lip of the lid and cause a thud from the lid dropping shut.
