It works well until it doesn’t. I loved having an ice machine since my apartment fridge doesn’t have one, but it is impossible to keep this clean for more than a month or two. After that, no matter what you do to clean it, you cannot get it completely clean. They added the self cleaning feature in the 2nd model I bought and that helps keep the nozzles clean, but there is a film that starts to build over all the parts you can’t reach. It grosses me out and then I stop using it and it becomes a waste of money.

We have a Samsung refrigerator so needless to say it doesn’t have an icemaker that works. However, this Frigidaire delivers as promised and makes ice quickly, often in seven or eight minutes and we have a nice supply all day long. In addition, it keeps it cold where are some icemakers do not. Great product.
