    So far, so good! The description was quite accurate in that the ice lasts in the ice maker depending on the ambient temperature of the house. I am pleased at how relatively quickly the ice is made so I have to be sure to empty the bin as quickly as I can to avoid over melting.

    Purchased this product to replace the failed ice maker in our fridge. Easy to use and clean. One fill makes enough ice to last three days for me (just me) in the freezer. I like ice in all my cold drinks. I always allow the machine to drain from the bottom plug after each use and wipe the interior dry. Full water fill cycling will take a few hours and removals of ice to complete. Not equal to a refrigerator automatic ice maker, but a decent substitute. So far I am pleased with the purchase.

    Makes bullet style ice cubes, which I prefer since this style of cube offers rapid cooling for mixed drinks, sodas, and juices. The hollow core offers more surface area to chill. Solid cubes last longer, but take longer too chill, crunchy cubes water down too fast, so this is the middle ground IMO.

    The machine is very easy to use. Just fill up to water fill line and select either “large” or “small” cubes. A can get a full basket of cubes in about 45 minutes. I usually run this about once a week and load up my ice box in the freezer for the week. Also use whenever I’m hosting parties in the summer and need to serve lots of cold drinks.

    The ice it made, while it still worked, was really good. We had it less than a year and it randomly stopped producing ice, even though the reservoir had water in it. We unplugged it, dumped the water out, made sure there were no obstructions near the venting, etc., and started it back up, and nothing! Very disappointing as we don’t have a freezer that makes ice.

    This is a good little ice maker. Not too big and can fit in smaller areas. It makes ice rally fast and is not very noisy.

    The only issue I had with it is how the ice came out. I didn’t like the cylindrical shape that was made and this machine didn’t make a small or large ice.

    Other than that, it is good ice maker.

    I bought this for my boat so when it arrived, I washed everything and started out with testing to get to know the machine. Turns out this little thing can pump out a really good amount of ice! I did find that turning it on about an hour or so before you might need ice is a good habit to get into as it does need a bit of time to build up ice reserves. I also found that you do need to help it along when it starts to get some ice in it by bringing the ice forward so the ice dump stays off the stop sensor – not a big deal at all. My whole house was very impressed!
