The grill works great, assembly was fairly easy. However you lost one star because the unit did suffer a bit of damage in shipping. Looks like it was dropped on its side and some of the materials inside moved and bent the supporting sides a bit. We’re okay with the slight cosmetic damages, no damage to the grill.

Finally has time to assemble the grill. Was hoping I didnt get any dent parts like others said. Nope. Got two dent parts. Weber needs to pack tha package better. They should leave about an inch or some in 4 sides instead of one side.

3 damaged parts (both sides and door), the temp gauge battery panel screw was stripped (and could not be removed) and the propane hose connection leaked (and could have caused a fire or explosion). I planned to use the grill on Memorial Day and was told on 5/20 the parts would be sent on 5/21 via overnight delivery; when not received, I was told the parts shipped on 5/22 and in fact were not shipped until 5/27. I asked to speak with a manager to confirm shipping information and was told I would receive a call from a case manager and, of course, they never called

We had our last Weber spirit for 25 years. This new spirit grill we might have way less. It does not heat up very well. The shiny chrome for the 2 ledges to put food on are tough on the eyes. I need to wear sunglasses! The handle gets very hot so there is a need for a potholder. I do like the size of the entire grill; compact. The cover is made of thin material but it does have ample room eith velcro ties to hold it down.
