The build quality is good and functions as advertised. However, it is has a relatively complex mechanism with moving parts and too many nooks and crannies; all of which are magnets for coffee grounds.
I would not recommend the coffeemaker as it is far less practical than using a separate grinder (dry) and coffeemaker (wet). You will have to wash 3 separate parts (two plates and a basket) that comes in contact with ground coffee then hot water. Unless everything is perfectly dry, coffee grounds will stick to everything.

Absolutely love it. Been using for a few days and the whole family loves it. Easy to program and a breeze to clean before use. It has a reusable filter which is a plus. Fresh coffee every morning.

We switched over from the Keurig Pods. This makes a great cup of coffee. Love the automatic timer so coffee is ready when my alarm goes off.

So far I’ve only used the Cuisinart coffee machine for already ground coffee that I previously purchased. It works great and seems to get all the flavor out of the grounds.

This is my third of these coffee makers in the last 10 years. I love them. Only the first had an issue, the second was replaced because of calcification due to hard water.
One thing to know, is that the water container is not a reservoir. If you fill it to 8 cups, but set the grinder to 4 cups, it will use all 8 cups of water. We have found on our new one that we don’t need to set the grinder as high as our water. We typically pour 10 cups of water and select 6 cups for the grinder. On the strongest setting, it’s perfect for us.
Very easy to clean!

This is the best coffeemaker, and this newer model grinder isn’t very loud. Great price point as well.

It’s fussy, I have had expresso machines, I thought this would be easier than it is. It’s ok once you get use to everything it wants you to do.
After this I’ll go back to grinding my own beans to make the coffee in a drip maker.

This is the perfect coffee maker. It’s great to be able to drink delicious coffee with my favorite freshly ground beans when I wake up in the morning. I like it strong, so I make it on strong mode with 8 cups of beans and 7 cups of water.

High quality coffee maker. Be sure to completely read the manual. Seems a bit complicated in the beginning, but once you learn the process and how to trouble shoot problems you will have no problems. I had to experiment with a combination of different beans to achieve the brew that I wanted: strong coffee, but not bitter.

For the price this is a great machine to grind as you go or use preground coffee. Strength adjustment and timer is handy for waking up to a fresh pot – even for just a few cups it brews beautifully and quickly.

Still using up our ground coffee. But makes fine with that. Control strength and time to keep warm.

Takes some time figuring out, wish I could turn off the coffee maker part without unplugging it, also can’t find reusable pods for espresso part
