    This is the best exercise machine I’ve tried for our family of 6 (ages 18 to 50). It provides a wide range of simple, fun, and effective exercises from easiest to most challenging. It’s so easy to change settings. A great single machine for all of us!

    I had low expectations of the product and only purchased it because my gym still remains closed. I was immediately impressed with the quality of the build. It’s well engineered and was easy to set up. I am a 6’1″ 220 pound man and it feels rock solid under me. The intensity of the workout I can do is maybe most surprising. 20 minutes and I feel like I had a pretty intense workout. Feel like this was a real value for the price. Great component to an affordable home gym.

    I bought this to replace a 20-year old Total Gym that wore out from frequent use and this one fit the bill. The price was right and it does exactly what I want it to do. It also came with exercise videos and attachments that allow me to do additional exercises than the old one I had. So far it’s doing more than I expected.

    I work long shifts, so it’s not safe for me to walk before or after I come home (too dark). I set up my phone and exercise along with Rosalie. I even have my 14 y/o daughter joining in. It was easy to set up with the help of my 20 y/o son. The only problem was the work out disc has no sound for me. There’s video without audio. That’s my only negative.

    I use this gym 2-3 times per week for a fun smooth workout. This has been a useful alternative to the gym, which I cancelled as a result of the pandemic. I will buy a second for my wife, so that we can workout together, when they are back in stock.

    I LOVE IT!I researched these machines for a long time- even years ago on a shopping channel. I have a treadmill, and usually do kickboxing but I’m getting a bit older now, and need to add strength training. As we age especially, it’s so important to build muscle- but I HATE lifting weights. I just don’t enjoy it- and although the Total Gym looked like fun on all the infomercials, I was a little nervous if I would like it or not. I figured if worse came to worse I could return it- BUT I can say, I am pretty surprised that I LOVE THE Total Gym! It’s fun, and as someone who is used to fast paced ‘pick-it-up-pick-it-up kick higher, step faster!’ type workouts, I find the Total Gym amazingly relaxing actually! My mind is busy counting reps, instead of racing about keeping up, or if I’m on the treadmill, my mind races about all the things I have to do… the counting helps. Also, I go at my own pace, and can still get a total body workout, I can tailor a workout to fit any amount of time. Because the Total Gym has been around a while, there are tons of Total Gym workouts online too in addition to the 2 DVDs that come with it. You can even adapt some of the positions in a yoga-style and even pilates! I am just amazed. Also there are some Total Gym Hacks online that are pretty good! There are SO many ways to work each muscle group also- if I find that one way isn’t comfortable for me, there are alternate positions to try. I actually look forward to doing my workout- I do it at night, as a treat and to de-stress at the end of the day. I’m also not the best mechanically, but this came pretty much assembled and it was easy to make the ‘ab pads’ which are wonderful accessories to have. It is also easy to adjust for different exercises, and I have no problem folding it up when I needed. It’s really sturdy, and I think it will last a long time. No matter where you are on your health journey, this machine can be a wonderful tool to help you reach your goals, in my opinion.

    This is a great product and easy to assemble. It is heavy so you may want to open the box and carry the pieces inside your home, several at a time. The parts are well packaged. I am pleased with this Total Gym XL7.

    First, this product is really built strong (and heavy duty). Once unpacked and setup, following the guide to exercises (included in box) I found that there seems to be an endless list of exercises that are possible. This nearly replicates the cable machine that I used to workout at the gym. Love It … but I am still a little awkward folding and opening as I do have to put aside each day due to space…
    Second, It arrived with a broken plastic foot from rough shipping. A call to Total Gym Customer Service was pleasant and a replacement foot was sent right out. A company that is a pleasure to deal with!

    I would recommend this product if your looking for an easy way to get your body toned up. This has all the attachments you need to hit all your muscle groups. This is a good product for tone and sculpting. I would recommend this product.
